Country England
Location Belas Knap longbarrow in the Cotswolds
Description A warning to the curious. This is the last time I saw my friend Daniel. I dread to think what that backside looks like now.

Country England
Location This entrance is by stream called Cogden Beck on the moors above Grinton Lodge Youth Hostel (link)
Description I found this entrance on a walk down a public footpath that has mostly fallen into the stream below. It was quite a challenge to get there and sadly I couldn't get any closer due to the torrent of oddly coloured water...which looks a little too much like blood for my liking. From what i could see this tunnel seems to just keep going into the hillside towards the hell below....

Country Portugal
Location Quinta da Regaleira, Sintra (link)
Description This pic's been taken at Quinta da Regaleira, an stonemason/templar castle-like estate in Sintra, Portugal. This picture shows the initiation well, which provides access to a portal. The portal is guarded by two stone demons/dragons/lizards and leads to a labyrinth of underground galleries. Access to the well is gained by a hidden revolving door in the rocks.

Country Spain
Location Ares, Galica (link)
Description This entrance is located in Ares, a small town in Galicia, Northern Spain. It supposedly was a cannon battery several years ago, now creepy ruins are all there is left. Creepy ruins, and a burnt, ravaged, rusty car. Bad Karma...

Country Bulgaria
Location Plovdiv (link)
Description The shot was taken this summer in a city called Plovdiv, in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. Not much to say about the door other than it looked very, very old, but probably still in use. Not sure if the padlock was keeping things in, or out ... :)

Location Unknown
Description I found this entrance in a rather remote mountain village in Switzerland in an old abandoned building. Seeing it made me...uncomfortable.

Country Croatia
Location Island of Vis (link)
Description After finding some abandoned (WWII?) military tunnels on the Island of Vis in Croatia, couldn't resist a little late-night solo headlamp exploring (with 2 secondaries, I always travel prepared). Also bought along two six-packs of Karlovashko Pivo. No laws broken, nothing taken, nothing left (even cig butts & empties). Hundreds of yards of tunnels. spent a cool four hours exploring.

Description When I took this picture it was getting dark. The end of the tunnel could not be seen. I didn't dare enter it.

Country England
Location Saltburn by the Sea, Redcar and Cleveland (link)
Description The entrance is on the east coast of England, UK. The entrance looks out on to the North Sea. It has a balcony type feel to it -- excellent for looking out and contemplating on rough seas. Notice there is also a secondary entrance for smaller beasts.

Country Iceland
Location Tindfjallajökull (link)
Description From up close it's a huge glacier, which dominated the horizon for two days as we bicycled across the martian desert which it crouches upon. You can clearly see the large gaping maw which would easily admit several large aircraft. It seemed to emenate a sort of low-pitched howl. There literally was singing in the air.
