Description Suspiciously close to the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan -- in fact, just across the street from it--is this entrance to the underworld. Identifiable by its symbolic numbering, the entrance is flanked by an even larger one -- a cavernous opening that opens into a tunnel that often stinks of urine and decaying rats. Fortunately, someone has acted to prevent souls from inadvertently wandering down the gaping hole through the placement of warning signs.
