Description Driving through the city one afternoon, I was surprised to see the sidewalk suddenly open up near 540 Van Ness Avenue -- the first time I've seen a spontaneous Entrance opening.
No one came out, so I can only assume it was opening up in preparation for rush hour foot traffic.
